"HydroMeteo" Database
Contents of the database

In the field of water management BNP possesses one HydroMeteo database, designed for collecting the following information:

  • water-level gauge positions XYZ,
  • surface water state,
  • surface water fluxes
  • piezometer positions XYZ,
  • groundwater state,
  • locations of meteorological stations XYZ,
  • precipitation quantity, air temperature and other meteorological data.
Occurrence and format of spatial information in the database

Spatial information occurs in 100% of databases and is presented in 100% in form of numbers describing geographical coordinates.

Number of objects and size of database file

HydroMeteo database collects information from 112 points. These are in particular 4 water-level gauge stations, 6 meteorological stations and 102 piezometers. In the case of water-level gauges and meteorological stations new information is submitted every 24 hours, and in the case of piezometers - every 10 days. The size of database file is 5 MB.
